Jeff Johnson founded Impact Countertops 11 years ago and has over 40 years of experience in the stone industry. The business was built on relationships and hand craftsmanship. Working with high end builders and remodelers along with traditional homeowners has propelled the business to the top tier of countertop fabricators.
Jeff purchased Chester A. Smith in 2022, a long-time player in the Central Ohio stone industry. Chester Smith was founded in 1928 and was originally known for their commercial marble work including the county map of Ohio at the statehouse in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Chester Smith was sought out for the most complex of projects. It is the perfect marriage of two businesses with the same philosophy – high quality products along with high end customer service.
